Friendly Bacteria…Let’s Make Sauerkraut! 2
24 October 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm£2.50 - £5.00
Get fermenting in the garden and help us harvest the last of our crops before winter arrives. Chop, grate, squish and squash to make your very own jar of sauerkraut to take home, and see our friendly bacteria hard at work!
Join us at the greenhouses this October half term where we will be exploring the amazing world of friendly bacteria. Autumn is a special time of year when humans and bacteria work together to preserve the last of summer’s bounty and rejuvenate the garden for the coming year. From composting to fermenting our workshops this week will be all about our bacterial friends!
£5 per child / £2.50 low-income. This workshop must be booked in advance using our online ticketing system (see below).
Please provide ages of children and details of any allergies, medical conditions or additional needs in the ‘additional notes’ box when booking.
