Green Woodworking – Making a Foot Massager

July 23 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Free

The Green Woodworking Group at BPCG make things from green wood (freshly cut-down trees) using hand tools and traditional methods. Working with axes, knives, chisels etc., Green Woodworking is about getting to know and creatively responding to wood; making functional objects – spoons, spatulas, chairs, stools and much more. We have a pole lathe and shaving horse, a few tools and a fair amount of wood.

At this workshop, we will be learning how to make a foot massager using a pole lathe.

Would you like to join in? You’d be learning and practising some foundation skills, making a little something to take away, to give to BPCG, and/or helping with building up the group’s resources.

You’ll need to be over 18. Please wear stout shoes (no flip-flops, sandals, canvas shoes). This is a FREE workshop but please do book a ticket.
