Parrots Don’t Live in the City! Children’s Book Reading and Activity Morning
30 August 2017 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pmFree
‘They were flying their kite, loop-the-loop up high,
When something emerald flickered by…’
Join us for an interactive story-telling session with Herne Hillian author, Lucy, and local illustrator, Jenna, as we enter a hide-and-seek world of discovery in search of one very special creature…..We’ll then team up with Herne Hill’s very own Kimberly of Bumble Box to get to know the garden’s residents a little better. We’ll do some bird spotting, make a parrot collage and collect some flower seeds for replanting next Spring. Bring your binoculars and come along.
