Learn how to grow as much edible stuff as possible – year round, and organically.
Come along on the last two Sundays of the month from 10am to 1pm to learn how to do all the things you need to do to grow food – and the time when you need to do them!
Whether in window boxes, in a garden or in an allotment, we aim to give you the confidence to grow vegetables, salads, fruits and herbs.
Our teaching sessions always involve hands on learning so show up at 10am, dressed in warm clothes you don’t mind getting mucky, and sturdy boots or shoes. If you have gardening gloves, bring them along. If not, we can lend. And don’t worry, there will definitely be a tea/coffee break half way through!
In our fourth session – amongst other things – you will learn all about Four Crop Rotation and Inter-Cropping. How and why should you do it? Learn about the different fruit and veg families and how you can get the best crops out of your soils year on year – organically. We will help you plan a crop rotation and inter-cropping that works for you.
