Building work taking place over winter
Building work will be taking place over winter at the Community Greenhouses on the upper part of the site. This means the main entrance to the site is now closed, but we are open as usual.
Access is next to main entrance and we will still be open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays as before.
The building work is part of the wider development taking place in Brockwell Park. We are looking forward to a brand new kitchen and meeting space, a disabled access toilet, paths and other improvement works.
The upper greenhouse will be out of use over the winter. However, the lower greenhouse – home to rice, okra, water spinach and more – is open to the public, as is the orchard, herb garden, gourd display and dye plant area. Do come and have a look around.
