This week, on Thursday 19th December and Sunday 22nd December at 1pm,  all are welcome to our Pot Luck Volunteer Christmas Lunches.  Please bring along food and/or drink to share and enjoy together. We have the microwave and hob to warm things up if needed.

We will also be having a final clear up in the Upper Greenhouse, getting it ready for the renovation work that will begin in January. We will also be cleaning the Passive Greenhouse glass, inside and out getting it ready to become our new succulent house in 2020.

We will be sorting through our garden and woodworking tools, cleaning & oiling them, labelling and ensuring that they have been put away in the correct drawers/ shelves in the Nissen hut and tool container.

We will be painting signs for the tool container giving simple instructions about how to clean and put away tools every time after use.  Similarly, we will be making a series of signs for the compost bays so everyone is clear about which bays to use currently, which bays to leave to rot down and where to put woody waste and leaf mould.

Can anyone with spare old rags please donate them to the greenhouses. We need an old rag supply for tool cleaning!
