This workshop takes place once per month over 10 months from October 2021 until July 2022. Led by Cat Stevens, our community gardener you will work on and learn about all the edibles in our garden.
Each month there is a 3 hour workshop in the garden with an emphasis on things you need to do this month. This workshop will suit people with a larger space to cultivate – perhaps an allotment or a large garden or a local community space.
This is an active, practical course. You’ll be mulching, weeding, harvesting roots, shoots and berries, sowing outside, pruning fruit trees and bushes and building bean supports. By the end of the year you should have all the techniques and knowledge to run your own plot.
The course takes place on the fourth Sunday morning per month from 10.00 until 1.00pm every month from October until July 2022. There is a £5 booking fee to deter speculative bookings. Once you have booked there are no further charges for the year. (In case of extreme hardship please contact Chris@brockwellgreenhouses.org.uk). We are increasing the number of spaces to 14 this year. For the moment, please bring a mask in case we are assembled in the greenhouse.
There are also two other different workshops in our series
