Before Django Reinhardt, there was Carl Kress, Dick McDonough and the peerless ‘Father of Jazz Guitar’, Eddie Lang. Danzon are a guitar duo who continue this tradition. Based in London, they play the works of the great 1930s-40s jazz and blues guitarists Eddie Lang, Carl Kress, Dick McDonough, George Barnes, and Lonnie Johnson.
