Join in our family fermentation fun at the Greenhouses with this Saturday workshop!

We will be saying goodbye to winter by taking the tour of the gardens, then tasting and making roots sauerkraut and fizzy probiotic drink. It is the time of year to use up our winter roots, and turn them into something yummy and healthy for the whole family. Children can gather whatever herbs are available at the garden at the time to add to their fermented vegetables. You will take home a delicious jar of sauerkraut, and water kefir grains to make your own yummy drink at home.

Please remember to bring one half a litre jar + one small jar to the workshop.

This session will be hosted by fantastic local macrobiotic and whole foods chef Jelena Belgrave @potsandfoodtoshare

£6 per child / £3.00 low-income. This workshop must be booked in advance using our online ticketing system (see below).

Please provide ages of children and details of any allergies, medical conditions or additional needs in the ‘additional notes’ box when booking. Please note, all children must be supervised by a participating adult in this family workshop.
