Fifty50 Challenge – Healthy Cooking and Nutrition Workshop for Men

A demonstration of healthy nutrition using seasonal ingredients grown locally, this workshop will show you how to prepare healthy and hearty dishes straight from your local greengrocers or allotment plot directly to your cooking pot. You will learn what constitutes a healthy balanced meal, tips on preparing vegetables, along with an easy to follow recipe to take away with you.
The workshop will include a Q&A on cooking and edible gardening where we will open the floor to the audience to share tips and advice on growing your own fruit and vegetables. In this cookery demonstration we will use a bespoke, hand crafted field kitchen from Ollie’s Kitchen at the Community Greenhouses.
