
Introduction to Greenwood Sculpture

At this session, we will cover:
- What green woodworking is
- Aims and principles of our group
- Basic safety principles
- The participant agreement
- An introduction to some key tools used in green woodworking – axe, straight knife, hook knife, draw-knife
You will leave the day having made a sculptural object from a log.
Tea/coffee provided. Please provide your own lunch.

12.00 Introductions and tea
Followed by discussion about green woodworking, the day ahead, and filling in the Green Woodworking participant agreement
Introduction to tools, techniques and safety
13.00 – Continue with tools, techniques and safety, with the end goal of making something to take home!
15.30 – De-brief, Q&A, signing participant agreements
16.00 – Pack away
