Come and enjoy Jazz in the Greenhouse from nu-phonic, a wonderful new four piece London quartet.

The quartet features Roger Humbles, on saxes. Roger studied at Guildhall School of Music and has performed at Ronnie Scotts, Royal Festival Hall, Barbican, Vortex, 606 Club, Hideaway and many others.  The quartet will be playing Roger’s compositions. Have a pre-listen here

Matt Skeaping is on drums (Matt has recorded with Claire Martin (OBE), and with Jamie Cullum. Other notable credits include a stint with Adrian Cox, Liam Noble, Phil Robson, Alex Hutton, the late Dudu Pukwana, TJ Johnson and many others)

Christian Prior is on piano. Christian also runs his own projects Gin Trap House Band and Dreiklang trio.

Julie Walkington is on acoustic bass. Julie has played with Georgia Mancio, Barb Jungr, Tina May, Alina Bzhezhinska, Moonscape and many others.

Gates open 6pm to give an opportunity to see the gardens and get food and drink.  Nu-phonic’s first set will be at 6.30pm to 7.15pm. Interval 7.15pm to 7.45pm. Second set 7.45pm to about 8.30pm.

We put on our Gigs at the Greenhouses to let people hear brilliant music, enjoy our lovely gardens and to raise money so that the community can benefit from BPCG 7 days a week.
