The Secrets of Seeds
25 February 2018 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pmFree
In the first of Cat’s series of Creative Garden Workshops, find out what seeds are, why they are so important for biodiversity, and how to collect, store and encourage them to germinate. You’ll be fascinated!
We will also sow seeds and teach you about the requirements of different sizes and types of seeds.
And learn all about the aftercare requirements of the young seedlings.
All our Creative Garden workshops involve hands on learning as well as some fascinating plant science and botany. Show up just before 11am, dressed in warm clothes you don’t mind getting mucky, and sturdy boots and shoes. If you have gardening gloves, bring them along. If not, we can lend. Most of our sessions are free * but so we know you are coming, please book a ticket below. (* excepting Willow Weaving 1st April and Hanging Baskets May 27th )
