DESCRIPTION:This event has been postponed and will not be taking place. Please keep an eye on our website and social media for an announcement about the next Plant Book Club!\n  \nWelcome to Plant Book Club! This is simply space to celebrate stories and nature as we ease into Autumn.  \nCome join for a gentle couple of hours\, sharing segments of your favourite stories related to the world of plants. \nThis is a drop in (no homework required!) reading group to celebrate a whatever you’ve read/heard/experienced involving nature that has inspired you lately or maybe been long held. \nBeginning with a brisk dusk walk around the beautiful Brockwell Community Gardens before getting cosy in the conservatory and listening to what people have brought. We will then create a unique patchwork quilt of snippets of these stories\, celebrating the webs and links and differences. \nFiction/non fiction\, prose/poetry/song/haikus to tarot cards\, all offerings very welcome. Feel free to bring an excerpt to read aloud or to ask someone else to read if you prefer! \nThere also will be a selection of books and teas and doodling tools for if you want to simply browse\, sit and read in a peaceful space. \nINFORMATION \nRunning time: 3 hours with plenty of breaks \nAge recommendation: All ages welcome!
