SUMMARY:Kids' Half-Term Workshop: Who's Hibernating?
DESCRIPTION:As autumn takes hold in the garden\, plants begin to slow down and some of our favourite garden creatures start preparing for a long winter sleep. \nThrough games and garden exploration\, we’ll discover why animals hibernate\, which creatures in our local green spaces spend the winter sleeping\, and where they choose to hide. Children will then use foraged and recycled materials to create their very own hibernation hotel to take home – ready for a sleepy garden visitor! \nThis session is for children aged 4-6. Siblings outside this age range are very welcome. \nChildren must be accompanied by an adult throughout the session. Grown-ups are welcome to get involved or explore the gardens while the session is taking place\, but must remain on site. \nAll of our sessions are led by enthusiastic\, experienced educators who are DBS-checked. \nStandard tickets are £12. Free places are available for children eligible for Free School Meals\, see below how to book. \nFree places are available for families eligible for free school meals. To reserve a free place\, please email education@brockwellgreenhouses.org.uk with the following information: \n– Age group and workshop(s) you’d like to attend\n– Child’s full name\n– Child’s date of birth\n– Parent/carer’s full name\n– Telephone number\n– Email address\n– Any allergies or dietary requirements\n– Any additional details it’d be useful for us to know\n– Proof of Free School Meals eligibility
