Our inspiring garden space is devoted to ‘growing through learning, learning through growing’ and the resources of our site have natural affinities with a number of popular adult education courses. Our community gardener and education officer are both happy to lead guided tours or practical workshops for horticultural students and those studying related disciplines such as botany, garden history or herbal medicine. Please contact Beth on firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange your visit.
Our plant collection includes a number of plants used to create natural dyes or grown as fibre plants and we have volunteers with expertise in these areas who are similarly willing to lead guided walks or run practical workshops. We have an established drawing group (Drawing Growth) who meet every Thursday afternoon (new members always welcome) and our site provides creative inspiration for a number of photographers, ceramicists, film-makers and fashion students. Please get in touch if you or your college group would like to find out more.
