Welcome Story Stompers! Join us at the Greenhouses for an outdoor story, explore the gardens and woodland with Helen, and enjoy story themed craft activities and natural play – whatever the weather. Remember to wrap up warm!

Term time Tuesdays 9.15am (Story at 9.30am) – 10.30am

Recommended for children aged 2-4 years

Tickets £4 per child / £2.50 low-income

This session can be booked in advance using our online ticketing system (see below).

Please provide ages of children and details of any allergies, medical conditions or additional needs in the ‘additional notes’ box when booking.

Please note, all children must be supervised by an adult.

Home School Session: Winter Window Herb Garden

Are your children home educated? Do you love to take learning outside?

At this fun family education session we will explore different herbs and their uses, go on a herb hunt around the garden, then record our findings through observational drawing. Finally we will plant an indoor window herb garden for you to take home and grow over the winter!

This sensory, hands on outdoor education session is aimed at children aged 4 – 9 yrs (KS1 & LKS2), although activities will be inclusive and enjoyable for all the family, and younger siblings are welcome to attend. Herby tea and healthy snack provided.

Autumn Gardeners (under 5s)

Do you love to get messy in the garden? Help us with gardening activities at the Greenhouses as we get ready for the winter months! We’ll be planting bulbs in our garden for the spring time, collecting autumn leaves for our compost and making seedy bird feeders to take home to help local birds through the cold season.

£5.00 per child / £2.50 low-income. Family workshop for children under five years old.

This workshop must be booked in advance using our online ticketing system (see below).

Fermenting Fun: Summer Sauerkraut

Fermenting fun with Jelena at Brockwell Greenhouses!

Join us for the first session in a special series of fermenting workshops for families. Find out why and how we preserve fresh food. Then chop, grate, squish and squash vegetables to make your very own jar of Summer Sauerkraut to take home!

This session will be hosted by fantastic local macrobiotic and whole foods chef Jelena Belgrave @potsandfoodtoshare
