Join us at the Greenhouses for role-play and exploration to find out how birds survive the winter. We’ll make binoculars to spot birds in the gardens, look at real nests and build nests of our own, then make bird feeders to help our feathered friends through the winter months.
£5.00 per child / £2.50 low-income. Family workshop for children under 5 years.
This workshop must be booked in advance using our online ticketing system (see below).
Please provide ages of children and details of any allergies, medical conditions or additional needs in the ‘additional needs’ box when booking.
Please note, all children must be supervised by an adult.

Explore and discover pattern in nature at the Greenhouses. We’ll collect natural materials from the winter garden, experiment with ink and relief printmaking techniques, and then press materials into clay to make beautiful hanging decorations to take home. What patterns will you find and create?
This hands on education session is aimed at children aged 4 – 9 yrs (KS1 & LKS2), although activities will be inclusive and enjoyable for all the family, and younger siblings are welcome to attend. Herby tea and healthy snack provided.
