SOLD OUT Gig at the Greenhouses – Faith I Branko

Described by The Guardian as ‘musically a delight’ and by BBC Radio 3 as ‘moving, breathtaking and virtuostic’, we are thrilled to have this Serbian-UK ensemble playing our first Gig at the Greenhouses for 2019.

Faith I Branko started a decade ago when accordionist Faith travelled to Serbia as a bandleader with Gifford’s circus. There she met and fell in love with virtuoso violinist Branko with music as their only tool for communication.  Together they have been composing and playing ever since.

Their wonderful music will take you on a journey from melancholy Roma violin laments to storming ‘kolos’ and explorations into jazz improvisation, swing, Gypsy Rumba and Turkish and Indian influenced songs.  An absolute must see gig!

Read more about Faith and Branko’s  romantic story here and have a pre-listen and look here.
