How to be a Gardener 2

It’s time to get gardening at the Greenhouses!

Join us on a treasure hunt around the garden to spot garden implements and match them to gardening tasks. Help us dig, tidy and sort our spring garden, plant bee friendly flowers and look after the worms in our wormery. Then make yourself a recycled plant pot, and plant a seed to take home and grow. This a family workshop for children of all ages.

£5 per child / £2.50 low-income. This workshop must be booked in advance using our online ticketing system (see below).

Please provide ages of children and details of any allergies, medical conditions or additional needs in the ‘additional notes’ box when booking.

Please note, all children must be supervised by a participating adult in this family workshop.

Explore our woodland, walled garden and natural kitchen…what will you find? Connect with the natural world through play at this free flow afternoon, where you might hunt for mini beasts, collect materials to make a wild crown or craft magical clay creatures. This session is for children under 5. Healthy snack provided.

SOLD OUT Froglife: Family Wildlife Garden Workshop

Hop along to Froglife’s wonderful wildlife workshop, where we’ll learn about the amphibians in our gardens, find out how to make green spaces more attractive to wildlife, explore our gardens, and have a go at planning wildlife gardens of our own.
