The weekend after next, on July 20th and 21st it’s the Lambeth Country Show!  This means the greenhouses are closed for volunteering and visiting but we will have a stall at the show.  It will be full of lovely plants and produce for sale!  As last year we will be opposite the Flower and Produce Tent just down the slope from Brockwell Hall.

We will also again be entering vegetables and plants we have grown into the ‘Flower Show’ competition.  (Oddly it’s called a Flower Show even though it includes cakes, jams, vegetables, art and other things.) Fingers crossed for successes!

If you are able to help on Friday afternoon 19th July setting up our stall, and/or on Saturday 20th or Sunday 21st on the stall, please let Kate know by replying to this email indicating roughly when you can manage to help. Thanks!

This week, in our Sunday evening Gig at the Greenhouses on July 14th we are really looking forward to hearing Helen sing! In case you didn’t know, Helen runs the BPCG children and family programme and also sings with The Norfolk Broads . They are performing 6pm to 9pm. The Broads are a superb four piece female ensemble who take a repertoire of traditional stories and give them a very contemporary verve and energy. Old songs with new takes on the lives of women both past and present. To have a pre-listen go here  Book here

If you can help with setting up the greenhouse for this Gig at 4pm, prepping and serving refreshments at the gig, and/or clearing up afterwards, please let Kate know by replying to this email. You of course then get to hear the music for free!

On Saturday 13th July, there is a Jar and Fern workshop on Terrarium Demi-John making. Read more about it and book here

On Sunday 14th July, thanks to pizza maestro Emma and her team, there are pizzas at lunch time.  Book here

Helen and Cathy have published on the website our summer families programme.  Events are selling very quickly! Please book soon to avoid disappointment.

As promised too in last week’s email, here are some fantastic pictures taken by Samira of the BPCG 21st Birthday Party when we celebrated 21 years of BPCG and Green Adventures. So sorry to those who missed it. Come to our 22nd in 2020.
