Volunteers needed to support young people to experience our wonderful garden!
Our Education Programme is incredibly popular with kids, parents and teachers. Volunteers are crucial in making this programme a success. These sessions engage a true cross-section of the local community. Because many of our bookings come directly from schools rather than individuals, participants in these sessions may not have an interest in nature-based activities (yet). Therefore, observing a worm or touching the soil may be new to many of the kids who visit.
Giving children a hands-on experience of the natural world is incredibly rewarding. Volunteering with our programme also gives you valuable experience in outdoor education and an opportunity to engage with our beautiful space in a meaningful way. No previous experience required.
