Join us for a summer evening of art, music, creativity, delicious food and drinks in the beautiful surroundings of Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses.

Art in the Garden is our annual celebration of local creativity, bringing together artists, performers and visitors for a relaxed evening among the gardens and greenhouses. Explore an exhibition featuring nature-inspired artwork by more than 30 local artists, displayed throughout the gardens and greenhouses, and meet some of the people behind the work.

There will be live music from alternative musician Gigi Wilde, whose performances feel like watching a small play—artfully decorated truths with a touch of theatricality. Universally felt stories are brought to life through playful, lyric-led music.

You can also join our poetry walk, wandering through the gardens and stopping along the way to hear work performed by four different poets, or take a peaceful moment for yourself during a free 15-minute guided meditation session. Henna painting will also be available throughout the evening.

Our BPCG Community Cooking Group will be serving a choice of potato, green bean and coconut curry or beetroot curry, both served with rice and homemade pickles. Limited food available so pre-booking is highly recommended! We’ll also have some delicious homemade cakes.

The bar will be open throughout the evening, offering local craft beer, organic wine, botanical cocktails made with ingredients grown at the Greenhouses, homemade fruit gin, soft drinks and other refreshments.

Every ticket purchased helps support Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses. As this is a community-led fundraiser, all profits from the event go towards keeping the Greenhouses open seven days a week and supporting our volunteering, educational and community programmes.
