Demi Spriggs plays with both traditional and experimental musical modes shifting between the melancholy, the eerie and the uncanny with her tales for and of the weary.
Demi lives between London and Athens. She has two current projects. The first, night folkways works on vocal and sound looping with pedals, to create a kind of otherworldly shoegaze. Her second project tells new folk stories and feminist readings of classic folk tales.

Demi will be supported by:
ANSER
Virginia Sutera, violin
Alberto Braida, piano
Virginia Sutera’s and Alberto Braida’s Duo takes its name from the binary star Anser, whose two stars orbit around their common centre of mass. Like the star, Virginia and Alberto see themselves revolving around a common musical idea, whilst both holding their individual identities and styles. Free improvisation and composition co-exist resulting in brilliantly intense and refined live performances.
Anser collaborates with the Stradivarius record label with which they released the homonymous album ANSER in 2020 and Walking on Water Drops in 2023. Listen here to Anser

We put on our Gigs at the Greenhouses to let people hear brilliant music, enjoy our lovely gardens and to raise money so that the community can benefit from BPCG seven days a week.
Getting to us
BPCG is in the middle of Brockwell Park, between the tennis courts and the walled gardens. Follow the signs.
Entrance and exit from the Park should be via the Park’s Lido Gates on Dulwich Road, all other gates will be locked. Please arrive in groups and be sure to have a torch or use your phone torches. Walk up the hill from the Lido, turn left at the tennis courts, then turn right and you will see the Greenhouse gates on your right. Click here to see a map of the route
If you are driving to the gig, we recommend parking your car on Dulwich Road or near Dulwich Road.
The park will also be dark when you leave the gig so everyone must leave in groups with torches.
Food & Drink
Delicious home-made hot food, botanical cocktails, local craft beer and organic wine will be on sale.
Book your food with your ticket to avoid disappointment and let us know if you have any allergies.
