Join fermentation expert Jelena Belgrave for a Christmas inspired kimchi workshop to celebrate Kimjang (Kimchi Day).

You will also have an opportunity to taste a myriad of ferments from around the world, hear fermentation stories, ask questions and learn hands-on how to successfully ferment at home.

This is Jelena’s last workshop at BPCG, so grab the opportunity to learn all about her methods (and secrets) for creating delicious ferments! 

Please bring two 500ml jars – they don’t have to be any special jars as long as they have a close-fitting lid and are thoroughly cleaned.

Jelena Belgrave is a fermentation educator, consultant and flavours tinkerer who firmly believes that microbial food preservation is an essential skill. She entwines stories and knowledge from her Balkan heritage with Japanese macrobiotic training and latest research in the scientific realm of gut health. Jelena is a member of the Fermenters Guild and regularly teaches and shares ferments at BPCG. Her workshops will always introduce you to new flavours, leave you inspired, excited and eager to find your new fermented condiment.
