A two and  half hour Creative Writing session for adults in the wonderful setting of the Brockwell Community Greenhouses.

In our first session of the year we’ll be exploring Flash Fiction: Perfectly formed short stories told in less than a thousand words.  We will read examples, try out some exercises and create our own flash fiction in a very relaxed environment. People with all levels of experience are welcome!

This session will be run by Tracey Hammett

Tracey Hammett is an experienced script writer, a published author, story writer, poet, editor, creative writing tutor and mentor for adults and children. She was a member of the Southbank New Poets Collective from 2022/23, performing at the Queen Elizabeth Hall and participating in the Poetry Takeaway. Her flash fiction story, Bare Earth, was the Lambeth winner of the Spread the Word City of Stories writing competition and her poetry has been published in Release A Rage of Red, The Bread and Roses anthology and as part of Luke Jerram’s Bread project.
