Plants do not want to get eaten and they will go to extreme lengths to protect themselves. Discover different methods of defence and find examples on site. What food do we eat that is related to deadly nightshade? What common shrub uses a rubbery chemical to make it horrible to eat? What other defences to plants use? Use what you discover to design and make your own incredible, invincible plant to take home!
This workshop is recommended for children aged 7-10. Siblings outside this age range are welcome.
Ticket information
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are required for children participating in the session only. If you have more than one child participating, purchase a standard ticket for the first child and you can purchase a concession ticket for any additional children.
Accompanying adults or non-participating siblings do not require a ticket.
