Brand new to BPCG we’re excited to be able to offer Kids’ Yoga!
Join Miztli Neville, at Brockwell Community gardens for kids’ yoga this summer. During these playful, accessible and inclusive 60-minute sessions, children will have the opportunity to learn simple yet fun yoga sequences and explore mindfulness techniques designed to build compassion to others and self, nurture self-regulation and build self-confidence.
Yoga which combines body awareness with mindfulness teaches children to recognise how they are feeling and most importantly how to self-regulate which be an essential tool for building physical and mental wellbeing.
Each session will begin in the garden where parents and children will learn more about the garden itself (and how nature can make us feel better) before the 45 minute yoga session begins.
Miztli Neville is a trained Yoga teacher and experienced children’s facilitator.
