Sharing Plates & New Beginnings: A Seasonal Supper Club

Loading Events

‘Sharing Plates &’ is a seasonal supper club series by Lucy Hegarty & Diva Garg at Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses, two cooks passionate about bringing people together over food.

An opportunity to connect over locally grown food and conversation and to think, feel and question what food means to ourselves, each other and the planet, Sharing Plates & is an experience that hopes to nourish beyond our palates.

Inspired by big family gatherings where food and stories are generously passed around the table, food cultures we have experienced through our heritage and travels, and most importantly the garden & seasons we ground ourselves in, we welcome you with warm open arms to share your plates and evening with us.

Sharing Plates & New Beginnings

For our first supper club join us to gather around the fire and the trees in the height of Spring, anticipating the Summer, to celebrate the new beginnings of life and share our eagerness for the sprouts that have emerged.

Sharing Plates & New Beginnings welcomes you to commemorate the seasons through a delicious three course meal in the wonderful garden of Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses.

Enjoy produce from the height of the season along with ferments and preserves from previous seasons.

Please bring an item that represents ‘new beginnings’ for you to talk about with other diners.

Food, drink and seating

You will either be seated on one long table or on a table of up to 6. If comfortable, we will seat you near someone you’ve never met before.

About Lucy & Diva

Lucy & Diva are two cooks, amongst many other things, who just love food. Anyone who knows them knows this. They express their love through feeding people and themselves, and if they planted a tree every time they said the word ‘flavour’ to each other, the size of the forest could reverse the climate crisis.
