Entry is free so come along whether you have a ticket or not!
As the garden springs into summer, join us at the Greenhouses to celebrate our local community and get out in the garden! We’ll be joined by some of our favourite local charities and organisations, showcasing what they do. From beekeeping to bugs, films to food growing, come and find out how to get involved with your local community.
There will also be a plant sale, live music, free kids craft activities, garden trails, and more ways to celebrate nature during this wonderful season!
We will be joined by brilliant local choirs, Raise the Roof and Dulwich Folk Choir.
Food and refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon. Including a homemade vegetarian meal, tea and cakes, botanical cocktails, local craft beer and organic wine available in the barn.
Pre-book a delicious hot vegetarian dish with your ticket to avoid disappointment. All food will be vegetarian, unfortunately we’re unable to cater for any dietary requirements.
Natural Connection Yoga will also be running a yoga taster session 11.30am – 12.30pm. It’s free but booking is essential! Only 15 places available.

Black Growth CIC
Black Growth CIC is grassroots Black-British majority female led organisation creating safe spaces for the social and economic empowerment for the Black community in environmentalism and agriculture. Through our community events, food growing initiatives and advocacy engagement, we aim to support our community by tackling the barriers to healthy food, land, and resources.
Brockwell Greenwood Workshop
A community greenwood workshop that runs every Friday and Sunday at Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses. They use traditional tools and techniques to make their own spoons, bowls, furniture and much more! Come and find out more about how to get involved and learn this rewarding craft.
Brockwell Hall
Brockwell Hall is Grade II* listed manor house at the centre of Brockwell Park, which has recently been restored thanks to funding from National Lottery Heritage Fund and Lambeth Council. The Hall has a café, exhibition space, and events spaces for community and commercial hire. We host a range of free and low-cost wellbeing, cultural and creative community activities.
Buglife – The Invertebrate Conservation Trust
Buglife is the UK’s only organisation devoted to the conservation of all invertebrates and we campaign tirelessly for their protection. Our vision is a wildlife-rich planet where other species thrive alongside people. Our mission is halting the extinction of invertebrates and achieving sustainable populations. The charity currently employs 58 members of staff, working in all four countries of the UK plus the UK Overseas Territories and a network of 500+ dedicated volunteers helps to support their work. Working alongside academic institutions, our staff stand amongst Europe’s leading experts on invertebrates and conservation approaches.
Friends of Brockwell Park
The Friends of Brockwell Park is a charity made up of members, our committee and other volunteers who want to preserve the park for the whole community. We care about protecting and enhancing Brockwell Park as an historic, landscaped, beautiful open space, a place of ecological and cultural interest. The park is central to the lives of so many people and we want to make sure that they are able to continue to freely enjoy its green hills and meadows, its walled garden and paddling pool. Please join us to maintain an oasis of peace and natural beauty to which city dwellers can escape from the otherwise relentlessly busy urban surround.
Herne Hill Free Film Festival
Herne Hill Free Film Festival puts on free films (surprise!) in a variety of indoor and outdoor venues around Herne Hill every summer. We are volunteer-ran and are generously supported by sponsors and venues from the local area. Since our first festival in 2013, we have screened over 168 feature-length films and 125 short films to 20,000+ local residents. Come and join us this year in May! Screenings are free, no tickets, no need to book. Just turn up!
We are part of Free Film Festivals, a network of volunteer-powered neighbourhood free film festivals. We always welcome new helpers so if you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.
Lambeth Mutual Aid
We are a local Mutual aid organisation working to strengthen the community. Bringing people together through language exchanges, organising workshops and our monthly cafe held at Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses. Everything we do is free of charge and we are trying to build a tighter knit and more powerful borough.
London Beekeepers Association
The London Beekeepers’ Association (LBKA) is a volunteer-run members’ organisation and Registered Charity that represents the interests of beekeepers and urban beekeeping in the central London area (see neighbouring associations). We provide education and advice, promoting responsible bee keeping and raising awareness of the issues affecting bees.
Natural Connection
Yoga and wellbeing for everyone including Saturday morning classes at the Greenhouses, weekend and longer yoga retreats, specialist support for refugees and community groups.
