This workshop takes place once per month over 10 months from October 2023 until July 2024. Led by Cat Stevens, our community gardener you will work on and learn about all the edibles in our garden.
Each month there is a 3 hour workshop in the garden with an emphasis on things you need to do this month. This workshop will suit people with a larger space to cultivate – perhaps an allotment or a large garden or a local community space.
This is an active, practical course. You’ll be mulching, weeding, harvesting roots, leaves and berries, sowing outside, pruning fruit trees and bushes and building bean and tomato supports. By the end of the year you should have sufficient techniques and knowledge to be able to successfully cultivate your own plot.
This is a chance to follow gardening through its full yearly cycle. If you sign up for this workshop we expect that you will be able to attend the majority of the sessions.
