Join us for the first Permablitz organised in partnership between Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses and Permablitz London.
A Permablitz is a volunteer workday combining learning and doing. On this Permablitz we will be learning the theory and practice of winter pruning fruit trees and soft fruit bushes. The day will start with a workshop explaining how to prune and after that we will apply what has been learnt by pruning the fruit trees and soft fruit bushes on site before mulching around their bases and carrying out other winter tasks in the orchard. Come along to meet fellow volunteers, learn about orchard care and hone new skills. A simple vegetarian lunch will be provided.
