Youthsayers is a music project based in South London providing free mentoring in music for young people (14-18) through ensemble work and live performance and, happily, they have managed to fit us into a busy summer of club and festival gigs. Come and see what the fuss is all about!

Youthsayers is celebrating 10 years this year of providing free musical experiences for young musicians. In this time they have developed a reputation for high quality performances as well as building strong community in our local area and with organisations around the UK and internationally.

They are a registered charity, committed to fostering growth, confidence, and skill in young musicians and are organised and mentored by professional musicians Robin Hopcraft and Idris Rahman from the mighty Soothsayers.

About Mambista

Mambista ran as a monthly club night at The Portico in West Norwood until NYE 2024 with live music from bands such as Sexteto Café, Yaaba Funk, Balkanatics, Grupo Lokito, Nerija, Krar Collective and Da Lata alongside the patented Mambista mash-up on the decks, courtesy of founder, DJ Gerry Lyseight (co-founder of Brixton’s legendary Mambo Inn, Mango Landin’, ex-presenter of Planet Mambo on GLR/BBC London).

Getting to us

BPCG is in the middle of Brockwell Park, between the tennis courts and the walled gardens. Follow the signs.
If you are driving to the gig, we recommend parking your car on Dulwich Road or near Dulwich Road.
Entrance and exit from the Park should be via the Park’s Lido Gates on Dulwich Road.
The park will be dark when you leave the gig so everyone must leave in groups with torches.
